Tourism
Our tourism sector is dealt with separately by mostly non-Japanese staff. We run a complex of 7 Japanese Machiya guest houses (traditional wooden houses) with restaurants in between. All are located in the heart of Kyoto—between Kyoto Station and Gion.
Our complex is called Gojo Paradiso Homes and offers entire houses or rooms for overnight or monthly stays. Our Gojo Paradiso Restaurant & Bar has fusion-style international cuisine, with vegetarian and vegan options. See our tripadvisor for more information.
Japanese Culture Workshop
We host workshops aimed at fostering cultural exchange through traditional Japanese arts such as calligraphy, origami, and tea ceremony. These workshops provide guests with hands-on experiences that deepen their appreciation of Japanese culture. By participating in these activities, visitors not only learn new skills but also gain a deeper understanding of Japan’s rich cultural heritage. These events are designed to create memorable and unique experiences that attract tourists even during the off-season, helping to sustain tourism year-round.
